Torque Control can be incorporated into all Bibbygear Series II couplings. A particularly efficient method is to combine the gear couplings with SE Torque Limiting Modules, which provide immediate disconnection of the drive when the torque in the drive system exceeds these SE Torque Limiting Safety Modules’ pre-set values. Re-setting is quick and simple. Shear pins can also be incorporated with gear coupling assemblies to provide overload protection. Brake Drum and Brake Disc designs can be supplied if required.
