From the humble Resilient coupling the company progressed to enjoy world recognition as a major supplier of all types of couplings by providing engineering solutions to the power transmission markets. As industrial markets develop there became a requirement to provide additional safety levels and Bibby was forefront of this change with the introduction of its range of Torque Limiters and Torque Limiting Modules. This product line continues to provide accurate and repeatable disconnect functions affording safety protection to plant and equipment. A new addition to the Torque Control product line is the need to measure the amount of power being transmitted.
